Breast Cancer Survivor Story

Elvira had come all the way from Russia to Vrindavan in search of god, she wanted to absorb herself in bhakti yoga but since few months she was constantly troubled with the swelling on her breast.

Being in a foreign land, having language barriers, she was too worried about the treatment and the path to recovery, it was then that her Guru Maharaj, HH Narayan Maharaja personally Brought her to our hospital.

She underwent the complete treatment Including Surgery, Subsequent chemotherapy and Radiotherapy which was completed in the year 2011, it has been 9 years since and she is completely hale and hearty, she is very grateful to the team of doctors and all staff of our hospital and makes a point to visit the hospital and meet our staff and doctors on her every visit to India.

Throat Cancer Survivor Story

Pooran singh was devastated, he had started to feel pain in his throat, even ingesting liquids had started to become a big task, he couldn’t eat and drink anything, Morose by his complaints he visited hospitals all over in Agra, and Jaipur, but the private hospitals were asking a hefty amount while the government hospitals had asked him to wait for many months before they could start his treatment.

In this confused state of mind, his neighbor Govind Singh told him how one of his relatives had similar complaints and they went to Dr sheela sharma memorial cancer hospital in mathura, which offers excellent cancer treatment at very low cost cancer.

Pooran singh came to our hospital the very next day and after consultation with doctors he was put on 35 cycles of radiotherapy and chemotherapy
Now all his complaints have been resolved, his treatment was completed in march 2019 and he comes regularly for follow up, he is very happy and thanks the hospital for saving his life.

Face Cancer Survivor Story

Kusum was devastated to know that she had been diagnosed with cancer of Face, she didn’t know what destiny had in store for her, her husband bhura had died a tragic death a few years back due to electrocution who used to work in Electricity department.

She has two sons Ajay and Kishan aged 7 years and 10 years and in the name of income just Vidhwa pension scheme run by govt, at times the money would not come for months and she would somehow scrape through but her mind was riddled with new problems now.

She had heard about Dr.Sheela sharma memorial cancer hospital and how they helped poor and needy people, When she met our Deputy director Dr Bhawna, Who was moved hearing her story and decided to give all possible help to her.

After consultation with the oncology team it was decided that radiotherapy would be the best course of action for her, she was given radiotherapy where she just had to pay for the Investigations and radiotherapy charges were completely waived off.

Now she is on chemotherapy and supportive treatment which costs 20,000 rs per month, she doesnt have any money left so the hospital is soliciting donations on her behalf, 

Stomach Cancer Survivor Story

This is DHARAM SINGH with his family,2 of the kids were in school. he is suffring from cancer of stomach.he was the only earning member of his family.So as he was having severe Abdominal pain ,Vomiting and was very weak.he can not keep on working,he needs money for his treatment,his chemotherapy medicines charges are borne by “Cynthia Roberts”.

Food Pipe Cancer Survivor Story

This is Mamta, 32 years of age and she is suffering from cancer of food pipe (Esophagus). She was Chewing Gutka for 6-7 years now when she realized about the hazards it was already late. She has 3 kids eldest 12 years old. Her Husband is also not working regularly (hired Laborer). So when she was advised radiation she had no option but to refuse as she could not arrange radiation charges but then Mr. Gauri Sharma came forwarded to help her and donate the amount needed for her radiation,

Ovaries Cancer Survivor Story

This is Chandar 35 years. Life has not been kind to her, as such a small age when her husband passed away she was thinking that she was the most unfortunate person. As this was not enough she was diagnosed with cancer of ovaries to make her condition more miserable, her in laws refused to treat her and asked her to leave. With no choice she came to her father, who again could not afford the treatment. But Mr. Mukesh Kumar come forward and purchased chemotherapy drugs for 2 cycles.
