About us
Dr. Sheela Sharma Memorial
Charitable Trust, Mathura
Dr. Sheela Sharma, an illustrious visionary, passed away at the prime of 30, due to the lack of medical facilities. Shaken up by this devastating truth, Dr. S K Sharma, thought of carrying forward Dr. Sheela Sharma’s dreams of mitigating the suffering that mankind is going through.
With such a noble vision in mind, Dr. Sheela Sharma Memorial Charitable Trust, Mathura was brought to life on 11th April, 1984, with the following aims:
- To deliver all possible medical help to the doorstep of the poor and needy.
- Setting up health care centres and hospitals in rural areas and urban slums.
- To detect, prevent and treat blindness, deafness, cancer, tuberculosis and AIDS.
- To reduce mortality rate of masses, caused by health issues and inadequate healthcare facilities.
Appeal
There are millions who are poor and needy of medical help
They too have families to feed and take care of. Some treatments to life threatening health problems are not accessible by them as they struggle to have even one meal per day. Every human is entitled to the gift called LIFE.
We feel grateful and blessed to have all privileges and as humans, we must help those who are less fortunate. There is no better way to be thankful to all that we have in life.
We have free treatment plans for all patients who are below poverty line. In order to keep this going, we need a fund of Rs.3,00,000 per month. If 1000 people contribute Rs.10 per day, our funds can be replenished.
